Baneology is the brain child of Adam-Thomas Bane. Being passionate about art and expression, this was used as a platform to combine his ideology of performance and design through media and live events. The brand developed further with the arrival of Becca Owen; keying into the shared love of fantastical design aesthetics, with a down to earth, fun and friendly working ethos.


Adam-Thomas Bane aka. Bane is a freelance body painter, makeup artist & performer.

BECTU registered with over 10 years’ industry experience, he is able to offer an array of different makeup based solutions to best suit the occasion. With a strong eye for detail and interest in conceptual design, his work often reflects fantastical realities and ideas with high impact results.

Originally finding his roots within the club scene, Bane experimented with styling, makeup and avant-garde characterizations, drawing inspiration from drag artists and the blitz kids. Having gained a BTEC National Diploma in Performance Art Design; Bane explored different media applications, whilst supporting himself as a performer.

As a performer, Bane is Equity Union registered as an accomplished stilt-walker and energetic live event performer; with a strong skill-set incorporating varying stilt walking techniques as well as poi spinning, angle-grinding and fire performance. Agency represented; Bane works closely with Jen The Roo, being equally comfortable producing or following direction.
